If you would like to use an external authentication provider to log your employees into the essentry Dashboard, you can do this using the SAML protocol.

To do this, log in to the essentry Dashboard as a super admin and go to the corresponding subpage via Company > Cloud platforms.

Alternatively, click on this link: https://app.essentry.com/settings/company/integrations 

Now select "Connect SAML integration" and a dialog will open:

Now enter all the required information in the mask. The identifier can be freely selected and later determines the URL for your employees:

https://app.essentry.com/authentication/saml/IDENTIFIER

You will receive the information on the certificate and the login URLs from your identity provider, e.g. Entra ID. If you have any questions, please get in touch with your IT contact or, if in doubt, contact us.

1. SAML assertions can be encrypted. Can you receive encrypted SAML assertions? Yes. We support AES-256 as the encryption algorithm.
