By default, guests must be checked-out by your reception staff or by any other user with access to the reception view.

Allowing guests to check themselves out, will shift this task away from your reception staff.

If you're using RFID cards for access management, guests could also check themselves out by putting their card in a card collector, if configured accordingly. If you don't have a card collector installed, you can also work with the following solution:

Self Check-out by guest

You can allow your guests to perform a self check-out at the kiosk on their way out of the building.

1. Navigate to Company > Check-in Flow and select the check-in flow you wish to apply this configuration to.
2. Click Edit Current Flow.
3. In the Onsite status, add a new transition and set the type to Triggered by guest at a kiosk or iPad.
4. Set the target state to Left and assign a title, label and transition color.
5. Click Save and then click Publish & Use All Changes.

You can also add additional settings to the transition, such as the trusted id check. Doing this will require the guests to verify again, and ensure that the same person that entered is now leaving.
