How to create and edit tenants?

If you have booked this functionality, you can also create tenants for your locations. This is particularly important in the area of co-working or in shared office buildings. Your tenants can then independently create their own employees and invite guests. Incoming guests can be managed via a shared reception or a tenant-specific reception view.

Create tenants

Click on COMPANY > TENANTS in the sidebar navigation. Here you can see a list of all your tenants for all locations. Click the "+ new tenant" button at the top right to create a new tenant.

  1. Click on “+New tenant” in the top right-hand corner to create a new tenant

  2. On the new page, you can enter the tenant's name, logo and company address.
Here you also enter the details of the superadmin for this tenant. This superadmin will receive a user account for essentry and thus access to your site, but only as a tenant.
This person can create additional employees for their company and manage them. The superadmin is also the default host for guests of this company if no other host is selected.

  3. Click on “Next” when you have entered all the data.

  4. Now select the location where this tenant is located.
Optionally, you can also enter the floor and room here. This will be displayed to your guests and receptionists, allowing them to recognize more quickly where the guest needs to go.
If the tenant requires their own logo for the kiosk, this can be uploaded here.

  5. Click on “Create tenant” to create this tenant.
The tenant will then appear in the list of your tenants for this location.

Please upload the logos as a PNG file with a transparent background. The images should be larger than 512 pixels in at least one direction. The maximum file size is 2 MB.

Edit a tenant

To edit an existing tenant, click on the relevant tenant in the list of all tenants. This opens the detailed view for this tenant with all the information you have entered. Tenant details, logos, the location and the super admin can be edited here.

You can delete the tenant under “Irreversible actions”.
