In this article, we would like to introduce the feature of the host database. You can activate this option in the dashboard under Location>Check-In Flow>Public Employee Database.
If you activate this setting, guests can choose their own host without invitation. To do so, they search and select a company and an employee at the kiosk. The employees are only displayed if their full name has been entered. Suggested names will not be displayed! The system detects small spelling mistakes and allows to continue the check-in process.
If the name is successfully entered and the host is selected, the employee is notified by email that the guest is waiting for him/her at the reception.
If the visitor does not select a host, the guest will not be granted access to the complex and must be cleared by the reception desk.
