For locations without a reception desk, the host can be used as an additional security measure as a final control instance.

For this purpose, essentry generates a QR code and sends it together with the notification of the host. This must be scanned at a device connected to essentry (iPad or kiosk). Only then will the guest's access be activated and, if necessary, access granted via the access control integration.
