This article guides Super Admins on activating host notifications in check-in flows via the essentry Dashboard. By editing the desired check-in flow and adding the "Send Notification to Host and Appointment Creator" action, hosts stay informed about visitor status. After saving and publishing changes, notifications are enabled for that flow.

Prerequisites:

• Super Admin rights are necessary in order update host notifications in the check-in flow

Activating Host Notifications

From the essentry Dashboard click on: Company>Check-in Flows.

1. Click on the check-in flow you would like to edit.
2. Click the Edit Current Flow button.
3. In the first transition, click the Pencil Icon under Actions.
4. Click the Send Notification to Host and Appointment Creator button to add it as an action.
5. Click the Save button in the Action configuration window.
6. Click the Save button in the Actions when executing transition window
7. Click the Publish & use all changes button

You have now successfully activated host notifications for 1 particular check-in flow. Please follow these same steps to activate host notifications for other check-in flows you might have.
