How do I receive confirmation of the appointment creation?

Goal: When I create an appointment in the Essentry Dashboard or through an interface, I want to receive a confirmation of the appointment with all relevant data via email.


A confirmation email after appointment creation can be activated in the check-in flow.

To do this, go to the menu item COMPANY, then CHECK-IN FLOWS and select your active check-in flow. Then click on Edit check-in flow. Now scroll down to the section Other Settings / Appointment Confirmation and choose one of the following two options:

  • Send with editing function
    • If important details, like the name, are missing or if details are incorrectly spelled, for example the email address, a notice will be generated at the bottom of the invitation indicating that there may be issues with the invitation and that these can be checked and edited.
  • Send without editing function
    • A notice will be generated indicating that there may be issues with the invitation and that the appointment should be reviewed, without any mention of editing the appointment.
