How do I match a checked-in guest with an existing invitation?

Problem:

A guest has checked in at the kiosk and could not be linked to an invitation, e.g. due to a misspelling of the name in the invitation. The guest now has the status Pending. In order to correctly assign all data the guest should now be merged with the existing invitation.


Solution:

  1. Log in to the dashboard and navigate to the Reception View.
  2. Go to the Pending section and select the guest.
  3. In the guest's side menu, select the Host & Appointment section and then click on the Select Existing Invitation button at the bottom. All open invitations for which no one has yet checked in will now be displayed.
  4. Select the correct invitation and confirm the process.

Warning: The selected appointment will then disappear and can not be restored!
