What data is transmitted to essentry?
Teams transmits the following data to essentry for all users who are in the same team in which the integration was installed:
- Name
essentry uses this information to assign the messages to the hosts accordingly. If the Teams integration is uninstalled, all transferred user data is automatically deleted in essentry. This also happens if, for example, an individual user is removed from a team.
Which data remains in the system and for how long? (Teams / essentry)
The deletion periods configured by your administrator in Teams determine how long the guest's data remains in Teams. The transmitted data from the above section is only used for the generation of the chat message and then discarded. As soon as the chat messages of the essentry bot have been deleted, no data relating to the appointment is retained.
How long the guest's data remains in the essentry system is determined by the deletion periods agreed by you when the contract was drawn up.
The user data of the Teams members in the essentry system remains until the Teams integration is removed or until individual users are removed from a team.
