How can I use multiple compliance documents for different locations in the same check-in flow?

Using the same check-in flow for all your locations is a good way to keep your check-in process the same company wide.

Should your locations require different compliance documents however, such as location specific escape plans, you may have considered creating individual check-in flows for each location.

This is a possible option, but you can also configure a single check-in flow to handle all compliance documents for all locations with very little effort.

For this example we have different Compliance Documents (e.g. escape plans and fire rescue documentation) that are required for each location, but don't want to set up a seperate Check-in Flow for each.

To begin with we will create all the neccesary Compliance Documents for each location. An explanation on how to create Compliance Documents can be found here.

Once each Compliance Document has been created, we are able to add conditions in the Details. An overview of the conditions can be found here.

Click Edit, select the Condition Is at Location and set the value to the desired location.

Do this for each of the Compliance Documents you created and return to the Check-in Flow Editor.

In the Upcoming state, click the Pen Icon in the transition that guest initiate at the kiosk/iPad.

If, unlike the [LINK: guest-type example], all guests are processed through the same transition, irrespective of their Guest Type, you can add the Condition Has Custom Field = Guest Type on your Compliance Documents, to specify that certain guests are shown additional Compliance Document based on their Guest Type.

Add all the Compliance Documents to the transition and click Publish & Use All Changes.

If you have more that one transition that can be initiated by the guest at the kiosk/iPad, as in the [LINK: guest-type example], you may want to do this in all or just some of the transitions, as is appropriate.

Now that all Compliance Documents are assigned to the transition, they will be displayed to your guest based on the conditions that are attached to them.
